Yoga
A Sanskrit term which means to yoke, join or unite.  The practice of yoga aims to help practitioners understand and balance the workings of the mind and body and connect the individual with the universal.

Hatha yoga
The practice of yoga, balances the functions of the physical body, mind and energy system through asana (postures), pranayama (breathing), relaxation and meditation.

Hatha yoga asana
You will find yoga asana taught in many different styles including Iyengar, Astanga, Sivananda, Bikram and many more. They are all 'hatha Yoga' - the physical practice of yoga.

Yoga now
Each person’s experience is different, that’s the gift and challenge of yoga.  In essence yoga helps to release the body, quieten the mind and reveals a path to experiencing higher levels of consciousness. Yoga brings us back to the true nature of our ‘self’ and helps us to see the reflection of that beauty in everything around us. It’s also fun and a great way to look and feel good!
